What a summer it’s been, and what beautiful gardens we’ve seen. It’s time to celebrate the winners of our 2026 Garden Awards!

We’ve had some fantastic entries this year, with customers showing us the time, care and creativity they’ve put into their gardens and green spaces.
From colourful flower beds to spaces that are perfect for relaxing, it was a tough job for our judges. After looking through all the entries and visiting our finalists, five winners were chosen from their brilliant gardens.
And now, its time to meet them!
“I love my garden, it’s very private and my rose arch is at it’s best this year, the honeysuckle and roses have finally met at the top! This year I added two new water features and a water butt to make it more eco-friendly for wildlife and watering. Lots of the planting is attracting bees and insects, plus lavender and rose petals make nice gifts.”

“It's the best my garden has been this year. I planted flowers that attract bees and butterflies, and also put in a bird house and a bug house. It’s great to sit here and watch the birds, bees and butterflies.”

“My house is next to the canal and a public right of way, so I get my plants from Friends of Stepping Stones in Skipton to plant up my garden to enjoy the reactions from the public - people tell me it makes them smile! The connection with the public and having to attend to the plants on a daily basis makes me get out into my garden for chats which helps when you live on your own. The brightness of the bloom brightens my day even on a miserable summer’s day.”

“My garden is my haven, I can sit and watch the birds eat, and the bees and butterflies visit my flowers. I have a small wildlife pond which currently has three resident newts, and I had two dragonflies hatch this year. I also have a smaller barrel pond which is a magnet for thirsty pollinators after an afternoon of pollinating. On an evening, I sometimes sit and welcome a regular hedgehog visitor, who potters about and has his supper with me.”
